easter sunday

happy easter! we had a lovely breakfast before church and a fun egg hunt afterwards. brylee loved her easter basket and it was so much fun watching her find eggs now that she kind of gets it. SO cute. she knows they come with chocolate inside so it's super cute watching her open them up and get chocolate all over her face. she is so much fun! what did we ever do before she came along? next year she'll be able to help baby boy hunt for eggs! i'm so excited!

33 week bump!!! 

stout family easter brunch

had a great time at the annual stout family easter brunch and egg hunt! last year i missed it because we were in vegas so i'm glad i got to go this year. can't wait for baby boy to be here next year so we can hunt for eggs with him!!!

easter festivities at irvine park

we had so much fun taking brylee to irvine park for their fun easter festivities. she did an easter egg hunt, watched the train go by and LOVED riding the cute little pony! she cried and cried when she had to get off! it was seriously the cutest thing. then when we got in the car and gave her some "chocwets" aka chocolate, she was just fine. that cute chocwet mustache just kills me!

easter sunday

tyler had to go out of town for work on easter sunday. i decided to head down to california to spend the holiday and the rest of the week with family and friends there. church was really great and my parents prepared a beautiful and delicious meal. it was a great way to spend the holiday. celebrating the resurrection of my Savior with my family without easter baskets and egg hunts was actually quite nice. but i have to admit, not getting to watch brylee run around and hunt for eggs was kind of sad.

on easter sunday we went over to my parents house to have dinner and an easter egg hunt. the dinner was killer. dad really out did himself... juicy prime rib. best we have ever had. mom spoiled little brylee with an easter basket full of goodies. she looked so dang cute in her bathing suites. and we played a friendly game of headbanz. super funny. you don't know what is written on your card and you have to ask yes or no questions to try to guess what or who you are. it gets hilarious. i especially enjoyed tyler's card this time around.
